Craft Store Haul!!!

Bought 2 canvas one is 3 feet by 4 feet, the other is 2 feet by 4 feet. I'm excited!!! Then I got the items in the photo to the right.

Fingerpaint for my son and he ended up sharing with his cousins!

Markers and a notepad but the markers don't draw on anything but the special paper.

Clay tools, and different needles because I needed the tapestry one but it was the same price to get 2 plastic tapestry needles or a variety pack in metal.

2 sets of platinum earring accessories so I can turn some of my clay jewelry into functioning earrings.

5 things of yarn... already started using the purple to make another slouchy beanie. Premo clay in "accent" cause I love the little tiny dots inside the neutral tone. I'm gonna have to make some cool stuff combining that with color on gauges.

And I got my precious niece to model my stuff!!

Finally pictures :)

Here's all the stuff I've made instead of an inspiration post.

An extra long scarf, I wanted it to be over the top in length n_n

A colorful scarf for a little girl modeled by monkey :P

And my favorite... the red slouch beanie!

And this is a painting I did that is 3ft x 4ft and I'm hoping to sell copies of it, but need to go check out different printing places to see who can print this the best. I'd like different sizes but I want options to do it the same size and on a canvas if someone wants to order that. I need to have anything available and affordable for me to make a profit.

Mostly Crotcheting lately

I made two scarves and a hat so far.

Feelin' like I need to do some drawing / painting today so I'm going to make a preliminary sketch of the painting I'm going to do for my sister. I wanna use copic markers for the background and multiliner for the flowers.

Check out this guy's copic flowers...

from http://jeffreyharp.com/

Hard to find stuff that isn't all Mom-ish on google since most Copic flowers will be done by Scrapbookers. o.x

This one is an exception, I love the contrasting colors and it's super vivid.

I like the vines on that one but not so much the flowers.

Straight Awesome from WillemSXM on Flicker.

I'm wanting to do something hyper-real like this --

But with Gladiolus because those are her birth month flowers.

Wow, after much searching I think I've found a winner for my reference!!

If anything, I'd like to do this one for myself because I think the colors I want to use will be too crazy for my sister's apartment.

Wow, I like that I see how they do such realism on tattoo art because she's got the outline unfinished with multicolors. Nice!

Crochet

Lately, I've been crocheting a baby blue scarf. I taught myself the "Mesh Stitch" so I went with it and you know what, it's coming along really nice. I hope to put it on etsy and then make more!

Last night we went out to Walmart because I found out that I can't use my bulky yarn since I need a bigger crochet hook. So we bought one.

It's the one on the top. I'm super excited to start with the more colorful bulky threads that I'm trying to finish my started scarf and crocheting every opportunity I have. I think this might just be the answer for me to make time to create something! I can multi-task and do this at the same time as watching tv or while laying down in the bedroom to rest.

I have some interesting types of yarn like this

I was getting frustrated trying to use my smaller crochet hook on it and it was impossible to see what I was doing.

I really really want to learn to make a beanie!!! But I'm scared of it looking like shit. I'm gonna try it anyway.
